Qualicert Krankenkassen Anerkennung

Tariff 595 and new billing standard

Information from QualiCert

From 1 January 2027, important changes to the billing of your services with health insurers will come into force. You can find the details in the official letter under Downloads. Below you will find the most important points in compact form.

From 2027, your services must be billed using tariff 595 and according to a new, uniform billing standard.
This means

  • Instead of subscription or participation confirmations from QualiCert, you will issue your customers with a standardised reclaim voucher in future.
  • This reclaim voucher must be created using specialised software that automatically takes all tariff and mandatory information into account and generates the voucher in accordance with the new standard.

Tariff 595 is a tariff valid throughout Switzerland for outpatient health-promoting services in the area of supplementary insurance (VVG).
From 1 January 2027, it will be extended to include all services provided by fitness centres, course providers and climbing facilities.
In future, tariff 595 will be mandatory for billing health-promoting services via supplementary insurance.

Tariff 595 was revised in order to bring health promotion in Switzerland up to date in technical, digital and organisational terms. Several developments made this step necessary:

  • Systematic organisation of health promotion methods: The variety of training, exercise and prevention programmes was restructured so that all services can be assigned and billed.
  • Digitalisation and increasing invoice volumes: insurers and providers need clear, uniform standards in order to be able to process large volumes of reclaim documents efficiently and without errors.
  • Expanded scope of services from 2027: In future, tariff 595 will cover all outpatient health promotion services - including subscriptions, group courses, personal training and digital or hybrid services.
  • Greater transparency and traceability: standardised rules improve comparability, increase acceptance among insurers and make billing easier for customers and providers.

Health insurers are increasingly recognising exercise, training and prevention programmes as an important part of health promotion. With tariff 595 and the new reclaim voucher, this recognition is being consistently implemented.

Advantages for you:

  • Your offers are recognised according to the same standard as outpatient services in the medical sector.
  • The standardised reclaim voucher ensures clear, comprehensible and standardised billing throughout Switzerland.
  • The formal equivalence with medical receipts strengthens the professional recognition of your activity.

QualiCert has entered into an exclusive partnership with the provider of the fitflowPro software. The aim is to ensure that the basic functions required for the recovery document are available to QualiCert customers in a cost-effective, customer-friendly and easy-to-use way.

An overview of other software providers can be found in the corresponding appendix. You are of course free to choose your own provider.

FitflowPro will offer a voluntary soft start from autumn 2026.
In this phase you can:

  • create initial recovery documents
  • test internal processes
  • gain practical experience with the new system

This way, you will be optimally prepared when the new standard becomes mandatory from 2027.

These documents can no longer be used for billing health insurance companies from 2027.

To ensure that the software is optimally tailored to your needs, the fitflowPro team is asking you to take part in a short survey → questionnaire.

In the questionnaire, you can also register to take part in the test phase from May 2026. During this phase, you will work directly with the software team and provide valuable feedback.
